About this video
In 1943 British intelligence dressed a dead man in a Royal Marines uniform, chained a briefcase to his wrist, and pushed him off a submarine near the Spanish coast. The papers inside were fake. Hitler believed them, moved his armies to the wrong country, and the deception probably saved tens of thousands of Allied lives.
